In Spring 2019, Tetley had the wonderful opportunity to train with Earl Thomas, Head Trainer and Professional Handler of Nachusa Labradors in Illinois. She quickly became one of Earl’s favorites and was lovingly given the nickname “Monkey Butt”. Tetley was ready to compete for her first hunt test on July 13, 2019 and earned her Junior Hunter Title in four tests on August 3, 2019. Earl is a wonderful supporter and cheerleader of SecretWinn Labradors, but also a cherished friend of Ken and I. He has been breeding and training Champion Labradors since 1969. Many have earned their prestigious Master Hunter title as well. He’s now retired from breeding, but continues to train and handle many breeds to their Field and Hunt Titles.
